Brazil on the Greenway III

Brazil on the Greenway III is a cultural and educational event organized by the Consulate General of Brazil in Boston and Digaai Cultural Center – a non-profit organization which mission is to promote Brazilian culture in Boston. The festival aims to showcase Brazilian culture as well as to increase the visibility of local artists, Brazilian and American artists, whose work focus on Brazil.
In its third edition, the festival showcased many cultural attractions, music presentations, dance and entertainment, football, children’s activities and typical Brazilian foods!
There was more! Several community institutions were present with information booths (Brace, NECC, GMB, ICLA, Brazilian Worker Center, MAPS, SOMERVIVA, Share Your Love, World of Life) and consular, health, and legal services were offered
The event took place on Saturday, July 21st, from 11am to 7pm, on Dewye Square, part of the Greenway park across from South Station, Boston MA.

O Brazil on The Greenway III é um evento cultural e educacional organizado pelo Consulado-Geral do Brasil em Boston e o Centro Cultural Digaai – uma organização sem fins lucrativos cuja missão é promover a cultura brasileira em Boston. O Festival the como objetivo, divulgar a cultura brasileira na região, buscando aumentar a visibilidade de artistas locais, brasileiros e norte-americanos, que tenham o Brasil como tema central do seu trabalho.
O evento contou com a contribuição de talentosos profissionais brasileiros e norte-americanos. Entre eles, destacam-se aqueles da música, das artes plásticas, da educação, do esporte, do entretenimento infanto-juvenil, do teatro e da culinária que atuam na região.
Participaram ainda várias organizações comunitárias (Brace, NECC, GMB, ICLA, Brazilian Worker Center, MAPS, SOMERVIVA, Share Your Love, World of Life). Além dos serviços oferecidos por estas organizações, o Consulado ofereceu atendimento consular, com destaque para a matrícula consular e entregas de título de eleitor.
Em sua terceira edição o evento foi um sucesso absoluto.
